Yıl 2020... İnsanlık olarak, Covid 19 diye tanımlanan bir virüsle amansızca mücadele etmeye; hayatımızı, değer yargılarımızı, önceliklerimizi sorgulamaya başladık. Ancak bu süreçte hiçbir hesap yapmadan, yaşam önceliklerini bile sorgulamayı düşünmeden bizleri iyileştirebilmek için cansiperane mücadele eden doktorlarımızın ve sağlık çalışanlarımızın değerini bir kez daha anladık... Onlara hangi sözcüklerle teşekkür etsek kifayetsizdir. Bütün bunların ötesinde; bizlerin sağlığı uğruna sevdiklerini, hayallerini, umutlarını geride bırakıp sessizce aramızdan ayrılan GERÇEK KAHRAMANLARIMIZ var.
Year 2020... As Humanity, as we are battling with the virus called Covid 19, we started to question our lives, our values and priorities. However, during this time, we became even more aware of the value of our doctors and health care professionals. They have been working and fighting to heal us, to save our lives without considering their own priorities. In whichever way we try to thank them, it is and will always be insufficient. Moreover, there are those health care professionals who have lost their lives, leaving behind their loved ones, their own hopes and dreams. They have lost their lives while working to save our lives. They are our REAL HEROES.
At the point where we are at a loss for words, We Lions in Turkey, our District 118E of MD118 Turkey, in order to show our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to THE REAL HEROES, made a song, both in Turkish and in English, to send out Lions' message of appreciation and gratitude that comes from deep within our hearts and soul.

This year also, as District 118E, in order to honor the health care professionals who have lost their lives during the Covid 19 Pandemic, we prepared and placed a special monument in the garden of the Turkish Kidney Foundation Hospital. This foundations has been founded by Turkish Lions and has been serving our country since 1985.
We wanted to share with you this song, this project that is very important and precious for us.
We also would like to offer our condolences for all Lions and Leos who have lost their lives during this Pandemic.
We believe that our Turkish Lions Family and our International Lions Family will overcome these difficult times with our care for our communities, with our services and solidarity.
